This website, ishqwithcandles.com, is operated by Ishq with Candles, a handmade candle studio in Pune, Maharashtra, India ("we", "us", "our"). By browsing the website or placing an order, you agree to these terms. Please read them together with our Shipping policy, Refund policy and Privacy policy.

1. Handmade to order

  • Every candle is made by hand to order with beeswax, pure soy wax or hard gel wax and a cotton wick. We do not use paraffin.
  • You choose the colour and fragrance (or unscented) on the product page. Your choice is saved on the order and we make the candle to match.
  • Because each piece is handmade, small variations in shade, finish and shape are normal and are not defects. Colours may also look slightly different on different screens.

2. Prices

  • All prices are in Indian rupees (₹). Shipping is charged separately by order value and is shown in the cart before you pay.
  • We may change prices, products or offers at any time. The price that applies is the one shown when you place your order.
  • If a product is listed at an incorrect price because of an error, we will contact you before making it, and you may confirm at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.

3. Payment options

  • Prepaid: pay the full amount online by UPI, card or net banking at checkout.
  • Partial COD: pay 50% online at checkout and the remaining 50% in cash when your order is delivered.
  • Full cash on delivery is not available.

4. Order changes and cancellation

Message us on WhatsApp as soon as possible if you need to change or cancel an order. We can change the colour, fragrance or delivery address, or cancel the order, only before we start making it. Once making has started, the order cannot be cancelled.

5. Refused deliveries and returned parcels (RTO)

  • If a partial COD order is refused at the door, a cancellation charge of ₹150 applies. It is deducted from the advance paid.
  • If a parcel comes back to us (RTO) because of a wrong or incomplete address, a cancellation after dispatch, or the customer not being available, a charge of ₹80 applies. This applies to both prepaid and partial COD orders and is deducted from any refund.

6. Refunds

We do not accept returns or exchanges, as every piece is made to order. Orders damaged in transit are replaced free when reported with an uncut unboxing video within 48 hours of delivery, as set out in our Refund policy. Where a refund is due, it is paid back to the original payment method after any charges in section 5 are deducted.

7. Delivery

Delivery time is our making time plus courier time, as set out in our Shipping policy. Delivery dates shown on the website are estimates. We are not responsible for delays caused by courier partners, weather, festive rush or other events outside our control, but we will help you track your parcel.

8. Corporate and bulk orders

Corporate and bulk orders (25 pieces or more) are confirmed by a written quote. The quote sets out the price, branding, payment terms and timeline for that order, and takes priority over these terms where they differ.

9. Candle safety

Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep candles away from children, pets, curtains and anything that can catch fire. Burn on a heat-resistant surface, trim the wick to about 5 mm before each use, and follow the care instructions on the product page. We are not responsible for damage or injury caused by unsafe use.

10. Content and intellectual property

All photos, text, designs and logos on this website belong to Ishq with Candles. You may not copy or use them for commercial purposes without our written permission.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent allowed by law, our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute is subject to the courts at Pune, Maharashtra.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page when you place your order applies to that order.
