Refund policy

Every Ishq with Candles piece is handmade to order in our Pune studio, in the colour and fragrance you choose. Because of this, we do not accept returns or exchanges. If your order arrives damaged, we replace it free of charge as explained below.

Damaged in transit: free replacement

  • Please record an uncut unboxing video, starting from the sealed parcel with the shipping label visible, until the product is fully out of the box.
  • If the video shows damage, send it to us on WhatsApp at +91 88559 81148 within 48 hours of delivery, with your order number.
  • Once we have checked the video, we make and send a replacement at no cost to you.
  • Claims without a complete, uncut unboxing video, or received more than 48 hours after delivery, cannot be accepted.
  • A reminder to record the unboxing video is printed on every parcel.

Not accepted as a reason for replacement or refund

  • Change of mind, or not liking the product.
  • The product "not matching" the website. We make every piece to match the product shown.
  • Small differences in colour, shade or finish caused by screen settings or the handmade process. No two handmade candles are exactly alike.

Order changes and cancellations

Message us on WhatsApp as soon as possible if you need to change or cancel an order. Because every candle is made to order, we can change the colour, fragrance or delivery address, or cancel the order, only before we start making it.

Refused deliveries and returned parcels (RTO)

  • If a partial COD order is refused at the door, a cancellation charge of ₹150 applies. It is deducted from the advance paid.
  • If a parcel comes back to us (RTO) because of a wrong or incomplete address, a cancellation after dispatch, or the customer not being available, a charge of ₹80 applies. This applies to both prepaid and partial COD orders and is deducted from any refund.

How refunds are paid

Where a refund is due, it is paid back to the original payment method after any charges above are deducted.
